I watched beast of no nation and heard a song by @kwesiarthur_ and I felt something, I started painting, a boy of African descent finds safety in America. The flag covers him loosely because though he finds solace in this new home, he’ll never fully be American. He holds his dreams and high hopes in this foreign land.
